Terms and Condition

Vigilance Branch takes care of the complaints implying (1) serious irregularities in the working of, (2) corrupt methods followed in business of, (3) instances of mismanagement /misappropriation /misfeasance which are being systematically suppressed by the management of the concerned Cooperative Societies.

• To take up investigation of complaints, referred to the Cell by GoM, on priority basis.
• To complete the investigation and report to GoM on the factual position about the complaints investigated and to indicate the nature of action to be taken
• To initiate and/or cause to be initiated action against persons responsible, as may be necessary on the basis of the results of investigation.
• To follow up the action and report on the progress of the actions to GoM.
• To exercise the requisite powers under the MCS Act and Rules in order to initiate and follow-up of the action.
